The Living Word Ministries Trust (LWMT) is a Non Profit Faith Mission Trust that has pioneered missionary work into neglected mission fields and areas resistant to the Gospel.
A Ministry Built on Faith & Service
We are a registered charitable Christian Ministry Trust in Zimbabwe, under the Government organisation registration act, approved and licensed to operate. The Ministries has been serving in Zimbabwe for over 20 years, reaching out a helping hand in countless ways � providing health care, food, employment, and education to the people of Zimbabwe.
We strongly believe that for the livelihoods of people to change, they need to be empowered with knowledge on how they can do things for themselves and earn a living that can sustain them for a lifetime.
Living Word is a Ministry dedicated to working with children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice as we preach Jesus and repentance. We serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
Our Registration & Mandate
Living Word Charitable Trust is a non-profitable, non-religious, social service organisation registered under the Charitable Trust Act (No: MA0000204/2015) with the intention of helping the helpless. It does not receive any government funds and as such depends entirely on the generous donations of businesses and individuals.
We are a nongovernmental organisation, non-socio-economical, non-political, and non-profit organisation. We co-operate with other organisations, charities, institutions, voluntary bodies, and statutory authorities operating in furtherance of similar charitable purposes both within and outside Zimbabwe.
From Church Ministry to National Trust
Living Word Ministries established to meet spiritual and physical needs of the most marginalised in least-reached slums and tribal regions of Zimbabwe.
Management decided the ministry should be registered and become independent. Constitution submitted to the Directorate for Non-profit Organisations.
After persistent effort through various challenges, Living Word Ministries was officially registered as a charitable trust � a significant milestone in our journey.
What We Are Called to Do
Feed the Hungry
Providing food and nutrition support to families in need across Zimbabwe.
Clean Water
Ensuring access to safe drinking water in underserved rural communities.
Clothing
Clothing the naked and providing essential items to those without.
Shelter
Accommodating orphans, widows, and the homeless in safe environments.
Heal the Sick
Medical outreach programmes reaching the sick and vulnerable communities.
Prayer Ministry
Interceding for the weak and building prayer covering across the nation.
Encourage
Supporting those in prison and encouraging those who have lost hope.
Education
Strengthening the weak through education, training, and skills development.
